A pair of smart New York editors with an eye for design are behind the newly-launched Sight Unseen, an inside peek at the worlds of design, art, fashion, food, photography, and other creative disciplines. There’s plenty of cool stuff in the launch issue, including a studio visit with a Berlin-based scent expert, an object artist’s fantasy celebrity designs, a tag-a-long trip to the Brimfield Antiques Fair, a book that takes a look inside the homes of artists and innovators and more from artists, writers, designers and plugged-in lovers of great creations.
Editors Monica Khemsurov and Jill Singer have been on the editorial staff of I.D. Magazine, as well as freelance writers, curators, and design consultants. Khemsurov is also the author of a monthly design column for Details magazine, and a contributor to T: The New York Times Style Magazine, among others. Singer’s writing has appeared in New York, Print, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, V Magazine, and more.
“Through revealing interviews, first-person accounts, and behind-the-scenes documentation of process, Sight Unseen uncovers the stories, inspirations, and obsessions of people who love to make things.”Permalink
